The teachers are over worked and it is understaffed and unorganized. It is painfully obvious how overworked they are . They're still trying to figure out how to run a daycare I did not want to send my child there so we went for another daycare. I was promised a refund and never received one

  • My visit on Mother's Day to Agape was very positive and spirit-filled. I met 10 people and was warmly received by all. Although I was a guest of one who attends often, I still was greeted by at least one other who did not officially meet me. The message was Biblical and the music was worshipful. I met one lady who particularly blessed me by her service to a homeless family. May God richly bless her and help the family.

Prior to attending any new church, I search for their website to get an idea of what to expect based on their beliefs. That is when I noticed a lengthy review of someone who apparently needs to reconcile with the body at Agape. I pray for that reconciliation to happen.

If you are looking for a perfect church to attend here on earth, you will not find it. Even though we may be in Christ, we are not Christ, and are not sinless. I was taught early in my Christian walk to never be surprised at sin; rather, be surprised at righteousness. That should eliminate the so-called hypocrisy that many point to in Christians. As long as we are on this earth, we are going to sin - every day. See 1 John 1:8. They key is, do we acknowledge, confess, and repent of our sin?

I highly recommend Agape fellowship as they are seeking to honor the Lord. May all at Agape grow in their love (agape) and may God bring healing.

  • I love Agape Church. They make everyone welcome. You can come as you are. My mom visits a couple times a year from out of town and she has always felt welcome. The kids club staff and kids are amazing too!

Disclaimer: This is my experience and perspective regarding Agape Community Fellowship in Hilliard. Some people will read this and say that the information should not be made public in order to avoid embarrassment for Christianity. Nevertheless, the following is my best attempt in conveying truth, which is more important than false appearances harmony and unity.

If you want to attend a church like Agape Hilliard where people; especially the pastors, elder team, and worship leader team; gossip, slander, and lie about an individual under the guise of “expressing concerns,” then this is the church for you.

If you want to attend a church like Agape Hilliard where the practices of Biblical leadership and directions from Matthew 18:15-17 are not practiced and implemented, then this is the church for you.

If you want to attend a church like Agape Hilliard where people in leadership abuse their positions of authority and are not chastised but are exhorted for their sinful behavior and are allowed to continue with their positions without consequence, then this is the church for you.

If you want to attend a church like Agape Hilliard where the Amish and Mennonite tradition of shunning is still practiced, then this is the church for you.

If you want to attend a church like Agape Hilliard where attendees are stratified into different levels of worthiness using human opinions; dismissing Biblical standards, in order to be permitted to serve in various capacities with leadership’s seals of approval, then this is the church for you.

My husband grew up at Agape Community Fellowship in Hilliard. My husband and I moved to Columbus, Ohio a little over two years ago, and we thought this would be a providential opportunity to attend my husband’s home church and reconcile with my in-laws. I knew that my mother-in-law would have spoken to her friends at Agape about me, and I was hoping people would try to keep an open mind instead of listening to hearsay and gossip.

My husband’s many interests include playing the guitar, and he was prompted by the Spirit to volunteer to join the musical worship team, which was short on acoustic guitarists at the time. Unfortunately, the lead worship team couple are very good friends with my in-laws, so they obfuscated, stonewalled, manipulated, and intentionally tried to deceive my husband with excuses and lies as to why he couldn’t join the worship team as a guitarist. After three conversations over several months, the couple finally admitted to my husband why they were not allowing him to join the team. During the third conversation, the wife lied to my husband’s face, pretending not to know that my husband wanted to play guitar.

The couple stated to my husband that the reason my husband could not play guitar was because of a theoretical future possibility that I would write a private correspondence to my mother-in-law. This was based upon negative things that she heard from my mother-in-law about previous letters, the most recent was from a year-and-a-half prior to these incidents. (The worship leader couple has never read any of these letters nor do they wish to, but they still believe it is in their right to judge prematurely.) Although my familial relations had improved, the couple decided to use this information against my husband deeming that he was unfit spiritually to be on the worship team. Their decision was based upon private correspondence and familial tensions, which apparently the buttinsky couple felt was their business and despite consulting my in-laws on their approval of their son joining the worship team, which they said they were fine with him doing.
